Dear Parents, Coaches, and Campers:

It is a pleasure for us to announce our 1st Annual GBA Summer Basketball Camp, providing an intense basketball camping experience for young players.  We have been hosting tournaments for over 10 years. We started out doing one tournament in Cambridge, Ohio and now we host almost 50 tournaments all over Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.  Now we will be expanding our basketball family, work ethic, intensity and knowledge into a developmental camp for all players.  This 3 night, 4 day " girls only " camp will focus on the fundamentals, skills and knowledge players can use to succeed on and off the hardwood.  The GBA staff, along with former and current Div I, WNBA and professional women basketball players will be on hand to offer quality instruction to players of all skill levels.  We, at the GBA, take great PRIDE into providing the opportunity for players to continue developing their basketball skills over the spring and summer months.

Camp Date:  July 11-14, 2010

Cost:  The $350 registration fee, for a 4 day / 3 night overnight camp, $275 registration fee for a 4 day commuter camp.

Check-in:   3:00pm - 5:00pm on Sunday, July 11th
Check-out: 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 14th

Our daily schedule has some flexibility and this is just a sample (subject to change)...as we are primarily interested in focusing on fundamental skill work, we still want to allow time for game play. Below is a typical daily schedule for the campers:
